Cancellation Policy

Notice period

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This gives us a fair chance to offer the slot to another client.

Deposits

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings and will be deducted from your final treatment cost on the day.
  • With at least 24 hours' notice, your deposit can be moved once to a new appointment time.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will result in your deposit being forfeited.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours)

  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will result in your deposit being forfeited.
  • This covers the time reserved for you that we are unable to fill at short notice.

No-shows

  • A no-show is when you miss your appointment without any notice.
  • No-shows will result in your deposit being forfeited and a new deposit will be required before rebooking.
  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in future bookings being declined.

Arriving late

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten or cancel your appointment and your deposit may be lost.
  • If we are unable to carry out the full service because of late arrival, the treatment fee for the portion completed still applies.

Sickness & contagious conditions

  • If you are unwell, have a contagious condition, or suspect a nail/skin infection, please contact us as soon as possible.
  • We may ask to reschedule your appointment in the interest of safety and hygiene.
  • We will always apply common sense and fairness where genuine illness is involved, but reserve the right to enforce our policy where appropriate.

Patch tests

  • Some treatments require a patch test within a specified timeframe before your appointment.
  • If a required patch test has not been carried out, we may be unable to perform the treatment, and our late cancellation / no-show terms may still apply.

Why a clear cancellation policy matters

MMM Beauty is an appointment-only studio with generous treatment slots so we can prep, perform services, and sterilise thoroughly between clients. When plans change last minute it leaves time that we can rarely fill, which impacts other clients who are waiting for builder gel, brow, or skin availability.

Our policy outlines notice periods, deposit retention, and what to do if illness strikes unexpectedly. If you’re unsure how it applies to your booking, send us a quick message via the contact page or reply to your confirmation email and we’ll advise the fairest approach.

Following these guidelines keeps the diary running smoothly, ensures staff time is protected, and helps us keep delivering the calm, high-standard experience our Brackley clients expect.

Use the booking link in your confirmation email or log into the Square portal 24+ hours before your slot. If you cannot access it, contact the studio directly.

Let us know as soon as possible. Genuine sickness is handled sensitively, but we may need to retain deposits where late notice prevents the slot being filled.
